Friends and Family doing awesome things in Chicago and beyond.
Our network of friends and resources is extensive. We’d love to highlight some of them and the amazing dedication they show for their work.
The Four Corners Collective
The Four Corners Collective endeavors to create collaborative art through inspired alchemy, tenacity, and a touch of magick. We seek to create a dialogue between the established vs. experimental, fine art vs. applied art, ephemeral vs. immortal.
CHIDITAROD
CHIditarod is Chicago's 100% volunteer-driven Epic Urban shopping cart race, charity food drive, costumed beauty pageant, talent show, fundraiser and chaos generator all in one. Do you know about F.R.I.E.S?
We explicitly honor diversity in age, gender, gender identity and expression, culture, ethnicity, disability, language, national origin, neurodiversity, political beliefs, profession, race, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and technical ability. This list is not intended to be exhaustive, and we will not tolerate discrimination of any kind. Consent is the base we build upon: without it, our community will crumble. We have zero tolerance for consent violations.
Check out our CODE OF CONDUCT and learn about different ways you can help identify an issue in our community.
The Burning Man Regional Network plays a key role in the year-round extension of the Burning Man experience, supporting it as a global cultural movement. In cities around the world, Regional Contacts help local Burners connect with each other, while bringing Burning Man principles and culture into their local communities through events and activities, year-round. These are the RCs (Regional contacts) of our city and how to reach out.
